Nutanix’s expanded portfolio of <a title="Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform" href="http://www.nutanix.com/virtual-computing-platform/" target="_blank">Virtual Computing Platforms</a> enables IT teams to tailor and seamlessly grow their compute and storage environment to fit their individual requirements, whether for an enterprise branch office with limited on-site IT resources or core datacenters tasked with supporting an increasingly diverse and demanding set of workloads.</p>
<p>The NX-1000 series puts converged infrastructure within reach of small to mid-sized corporations, enterprise branch offices or retail stores at an attractive price point while also significantly streamlining IT management. The NX-6000 series allows enterprises to scale their Nutanix cluster by adding storage capacity as needed for applications with large data sets such as big data projects, high-end databases or demanding virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).</p>

<p><strong>Paris, France and Alton, UK</strong> <strong>– 13th June 2013</strong>: Exclusive Networks Group, the Pan-European ‘Super VAD’, has reinforced its aggressive growth strategy and business expansion plans by appointing Neil Ledger to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) starting July 1<sup>st</sup>. Ledger, who together with joint country manager Ian Morris, has successfully led Exclusive Networks UK since the acquisition of VADition in June 2011 growing business revenues to over €90m in the last financial year.</p>
<p>Replacing Ledger at Exclusive Networks UK will be ex Integralis UK Managing Director Graham Jones, who will take up the post of joint country manager working alongside Ian Morris. In addition to these changes former Integralis Operations Director Graham Aynsley joins the UK business as Commercial Director where he replaces Robin Draper who takes up the role of Financial Director following the recent departure of the long serving Nicola Twiddy. All appointments are effective as of July 1<sup>st</sup>.</p>
<p>“I am delighted that Neil has agreed to take up the role of Group COO”, said Olivier Breittmayer, CEO of Exclusive Networks Group. “We have ambitious and aggressive growth plans over the next few years and to meet these we needed to strengthen our leadership team, providing more capacity and experience at the helm whilst we continue to scale through both organic and acquisitive growth.</p>

<p>&#8220;Who was genuinely (and I mean genuinely) surprised to find that horsemeat had been illegally profiteered into the food chain? Nobody. What was puzzling was the extent to which meat dealers felt compelled to shoot themselves in the hindquarters by passing their product off as something else.</p>
<p>Notwithstanding the absence of demand among a Great British buying public currently squeamish at the thought of tucking in to a plate of Shergar, make no mistake that horse is leaner and apparently cheaper than beef and lower in cholesterol. This stuff should be easy to sell, and that’s why there’s hope yet for the legal horsemeat traders. It’s what a lot of IT channel folk might call ‘disruptive’, and like the resellers who trade in disruptive IT solutions, if those horse dealers had their opportunity again, they’d take a more strategic view of their market opportunity rather than a tactical one.</p>
<p>Consider for a moment what they’d need in order to make their business a success. Firstly, a great partnership with a quality supplier. Secondly, a straightforward and honest approach about what they are selling. Thirdly, some diligent and workmanlike marketing. To succeed with disruptive solutions in the IT environment, the same recipe has got to be deployed. It’s got to be simple, the benefits have got to be clear, and it’s got to be right for today’s market context.</p>
<p>The recent food scandal also reinforces the old adage that you really, really don’t want to know how they make sausages and burgers…&#8221;</p>
